Microneedling
Microneedling uses controlled micro-injuries to stimulate the skin’s natural repair process. This mechanical stimulus activates collagen production and supports long-term skin quality.
It is commonly used to improve texture, refine pores, and soften fine lines with minimal downtime.

FAQs
What does microneedling do?
It creates controlled micro-injuries that trigger your skin’s natural collagen and elastin production, improving texture, reducing fine lines, minimising pores, and evening skin tone.
How many sessions do I need?
We recommend 3 sessions spaced 4 weeks apart. Maintenance every 3 to 6 months sustains long-term results.
When will I see results?
An initial glow is visible within days. Structural improvements develop over 4 to 6 weeks as new collagen forms.
Does it hurt?
Microneedling causes a mild pricking sensation. Most find it very tolerable. We apply cold immediately after to soothe the skin.
Is there downtime?
Minimal. Redness and mild swelling typically resolve within 1 to 2 days. Avoid sun exposure and active skincare ingredients (retinol, acids) for 48 hours.
Can I combine it with other treatments?
Yes. Microneedling pairs well with polynucleotides or PRP for enhanced regenerative results.
Who performs the treatment?
All treatments at HALO are performed by licensed physicians.
